The State Commissioner for Special Duties, Government House, Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza; has paid tribute to his two esteemed childhood friends, Lawrence Fejokwu and Raymond Ochei, who have both honourably retired after attaining the prestigious rank of Major General in the Nigerian Army.
Osuoza, who is in charge of the Okpanam – Ugbolu road project, recalled, with nostalgia, the passing-out parades of the two Generals at the Nigerian Defence Academy, marking the beginning of a journey defined by dedication, discipline, and distinction, noting that through the years, they had demonstrated unwavering faith in the Nigerian project and an abiding sense of professionalism that had continued to inspire many.
He added that General Fejokwu and General Ochei’s trustworthiness, courage, tactical acumen, and steadfast commitment to the service of their fatherland remained a shining example of patriotic devotion and noble character.
“You have retired in good health and sound well-being. I was privileged to witness the beginning of your illustrious military careers, and I thank God to be alive to witness your pulling out after such a distinguished and successful service to our nation. I heartily wish you the very best in your future endeavours.
“Gentlemen, I salute your gallantry, your principles, and your exemplary service to our great nation”, the Commissioner stated.🇳🇬
