Members of the Auchi Polytechnic Alumni Association, Ughelli chapter, have been urged to remain united, optimistic, purposeful, and work together to build a stronger and more impactful Association.
The President of the chapter, Mr. Charles Onoriode Jombo; made the call on Sunday during the Association’s new year party held at Ritz Event Place, Ughelli.
Mr. Jombo said the celebration was an expression of gratitude to God Almighty, and to the entire members of the body for the challenges overcome and the triumphs achieved through collective efforts, commitment, and mutual support to strengthen the Association and uphold its values.
He added that the get together was not just about marking the beginning of a New Year, but also about celebrating their achievements, appreciating their relationships, and renewing their commitment to one another, just as it was equally a moment to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the warmth of fellowship that defined the spirit of Association.
APAA, Ughelli chapter President, on behalf of the Executive of the group, welcomed the members to the New-Year- Party, 2026, noting that their presence was a true reflection of the unity, friendship, and shared purpose that bind them together as one family.
Mr. Jombo specially appreciated the Association’s Elders’ Council, the host and CEO, Ritz Event Place, Sir Robert Ighosewe and CEO of Marshal Spot, Hon. Pleasure Otsnotsa, for availing them their business premises for free.
He also thanked all those who had supported the Association in diverse ways throughout the year 2025, remarking that their guidance and encouragement would continue to inspire body to aim higher and do better.
“Also, I want to thank all NEO members, APAA Presidents of Warri and Ozoro chapters, the Special Guest, Engr. David Akpofure; amongst others, who are here to celebrate with us, we are happy to have you in our midst.
“At this juncture, I want to use this opportunity to respectfully call on Engr. Michael Adhekoyibo, JP, Chairman, Elders Council to unveil the Compendium of APAA, Ughelli chapter which aims at connecting members for businesses of mutual benefits.
“I will also use this opportunity to call on Elder Ochuko Bakare,(RQS), Chairman of APAA MULTI-PURPOSE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY, UGHELLI CHAPTER to give a brief message and presentation of relevant documents of the Co-operative to respective members.
“Once again, thank you all for being part of this auspicious occasion. May the New Year bring us renewed hope, greater opportunities, good health, and prosperity, Ijn, Amen”, Mr Jombo concluded.
