DELTA APM HOLDS GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY, PICKS PRINCE HENRY EZE AS CANDIDATE

The Delta State chapter of the Allied People’s Movement, APM, has conducted its governorship primary election with Prince Henry Eze as the winner.

Prince Eze, who was the sole aspirant in the primary, had his nomination ratified as consensus candidate by 25 delegates, one each from the 25 local government areas of the state 

The intra-party election was midwifed by a committee headed by Mr. Fred Akpewe, who also served as Returning Officer for the election.

At the end of the exercise, Mr Akpewe said Prince Eze polled all the 25 votes cast and returned him unopposed as the Delta State governorship candidate of the party.

The governorship candidate was later presented with the party’s flag by the Electoral Committee Chairman, Mr. Fred Akpewe.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, monitored the primary.
