UROMI JUNCTION FLYOVER GROUNDBREAKING: DSWMB Embarks on Special Clean Up in Agbor

As the groundbreaking for the Uromi junction flyover project continues to resonate with praises to Governor Sheriff Obborevwori and excitement for residents of Agbor, officials of the Delta State Waste Management Board have embarked on a special clean up exercise in the area.

The clean up, which was on the directive of the Executive Chairman of the Board, Hon Matthew Mofe Edema; took place on UNiDEL road near Uromi junction, before the groundbreaking ceremony.

The member representing Delta North on the Board, Hon Cosmas Igbinijie, who supervised the exercise, said it was to ensure that the environment for the historic event was clean.

Igbinijie said Agbor would continue to receive the attention of the Board, especially with the new status the flyover project would bring to the town.

He specially commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the multi-billion naira flyover and assured that the Board, under the watch of Hon Matthew Mofe Edema, would ensure the cleanliness of the project and the surrounding when completed and commissioned.

The Delta North member used the opportunity to thank the Chairman of Ika South Local Government, Hon Jerry Ehiwarior, for partnering with the Board in the maintenance of the Ika dumpsite, urging the Council to sustain the good work.
