The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has felicitated Nigerians, especially the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-ul-Mawlid, commemorating the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad.
In his goodwill message on Friday, September 5, 2025, Elumelu urged Nigerians to surrender their fate to God’s divine intervention and allow their lives to be guided by the virtues of patience, humility and selflessness, while always putting the good of humanity into consideration in all their dealings.
The former Minority Leader, who commended the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his efforts in providing good governance in the state, encouraged Nigerians, especially the leaders to prioritize the wellbeing of the citizens in the discharge of their duties.
Elumelu, on behalf of his family and political associates, wished Muslims a happy Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration, praying that the joy of the occasion would envelop them, bring peace, prosperity, and happiness in their lives
