The Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has congratulated the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Samuel Ogbuku PhD, on his landmark birth anniversary.
Rt Hon Guwor, who described Chief Ogbuku as a worthy son of the Niger Delta, and a great ambassador of the Ijaw nation, warmly felicitated the NDDC Boss as he turned 50 today, Tuesday, 19 August 2025.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, stated that attaining the golden age was a profound milestone and a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewed purpose.
According to Rt Hon Guwor, who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, Chief Ogbuku’s 50th birthday was not just a celebration of age, but also a celebration of impact, saying that his journey so far spoke volumes.
He noted that the celebrant’s leadership of the NDDC had been marked by a bold commitment to the transformation of the Niger Delta as he had consistently demonstrated vision, integrity, and uncommon sense of duty.
The Speaker on behalf of his family, constituents and the Delta State Legislature, prayed God to grant Chief Ogbuku continued wisdom, good health, and divine guidance in the years ahead.
Guwor also prayed that the golden jubilee strengthens the NDDC MD’s resolve to continue to be a vessel for sustainable development, peace, and prosperity across the Niger Delta and beyond.
