The apex sociocultural and socioeconomic organization of the Ndokwa ethnic nationality, the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the establishment of the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
In a statement made available to Journalists, the President General of NNU, Comrade Chief Amechi Asugwuni, noted that the University would not only be economically beneficial to Ndokwa land, but also useful to the state and the country in the training of medical and health workers.
Comrade Chief Asugwuni, however, urged the Federal Government to consider the establishment of a Teaching Hospital that would provided the needed medical services and necessary support to the University.
The PG called on the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the Federal institution received adequate attention and support to facilitate its early take off.
He sued for the collective efforts of all Ndokwa sons and daughters towards securing approval for the establishment of a Teaching Hospital to enhance academic activities, especially practicals, in the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale.
