In a remarkable display of empathy and generosity, the member representing the Ndokwa Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi today, 29th January 2025, offered critical assistance to Mrs. Jennifer Onyeka Isiche, a health worker from Idumuje-Uno, Delta State, who has been stranded in Nigeria for about seven months due to personal challenges.
Mrs. Onyeka, accompanied by her four children, approached Hon. Ezechi in tears, seeking help to secure flight tickets back to Dublin, Ireland, where she works as a health professional.
Moved by her plight, Hon. Ezechi, who was meeting her for the first time, immediately stepped in and booked flight tickets for the family.
In addition to covering their travel expenses, he generously provided further financial support for miscellaneous needs, bringing his total assistance to ₦4,730,000.
Overwhelmed by this life-changing gesture, Mrs. Onyeka was unable to hold back her tears of joy.
This act of kindness further underscores Hon. Ezechi’s enduring commitment to uplifting and supporting individuals in need, reinforcing his reputation as a compassionate and responsive leader.
