A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Barr (Chief) Fred Ajudua, has predicted that the State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, will be Nigeria’s next President come 2023.

Ajudua stated this on Friday in Asaba when he visited the Commissioner for Lands and Surveys, Barr (Mrs) Kate Onianwa, who is an elder sister of his.

The Ibusa community leader said Okowa possessed all the qualities of a good leader, adding that the way the Governor had managed the state, even in very difficult times, was an affirmation of his capability to be the nation’s number one citizen.

He explained that Okowa’s choice of aides was with precision, balance and the sense of judgement, just as he maintained that the Governor was highly respected by his colleagues, including those of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Ajudua thanked the Governor for appointing his sister as a Commissioner and member of the State Executive Council, describing her as a thorough bred woman, a caring mother lavishly loyal to friendship, a disciplinarian and a spiritual power house who stood by him during his years of adversity.

He assured Okowa that the Commissioner would make a difference in the Ministry of Lands and Surveys, considering her family background, and prayed for Mrs Onianwa to succeed in her present appointment and excel in more yet to come.

In her remarks, the Lands and Surveys Commissioner, Barr. (Mrs) Kate  Onianwa, recalled, with nostalgia, the role Ajudua had played in her life and those of others who had benefitted from his benevolence, stressing that his life was that of charity and secrifice.

Mrs Onianwa thanked her principal, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, for the opportunity given her to serve and pledged to remain a good ambassador of the Ajudua dynasty, the Ibusa community and Delta State.
