Likeminds Social Club of Ogwashi-Uku has elected a new executive with Mr. Frank Ikeji as President.
Mr. Ikeji, who previously served as the Vice President of the Club for six years, succeeds Mr. Augustine Nwamu.

He was elected on Sunday at Ogwashi Uku, after which, in his acceptance speech, he commended the outgone President, Mr. Nwamu, and other members of his team, for laying a solid foundation for the Club.
“I want to commend the past President and his executives for the solid foundation and structure they have left behind”, Mr. Ikeji said. “We are going to consolidate the achievements of the past executive and introduce new projects to put smiles and hope on the faces of the needy and members of the Club”.

The new President also unveiled his vision for the club, promising to be a servant leader and inviting positive ideas from members to move the Club forward.
Other elected officers are Dr. Jerry Odede, Vice President; Barr. Ben. Ighovorie, General Secretary; Utomi Simon, Assistant Secretary; Kenneth Okwuenu, Public Relations Officer; Uche Anonye, Treasurer; Ogor Nwaozor, Financial Secretary; Odita Henry, Assistant Financial Secretary and Onwuli, Provost.

The immediate past President, Mr. Nwamu, had earlier urged members to support the new executive, saying, “I ask all members to give the new executive the maximum support they need to achieve their goals and vision of the Club”.
