As Christians worldwide celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Lord and saviour, Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to Deltans.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, Rt Hon Guwor emphasized the season’s reminder of the sacred virtues of love, hope, and renewal.
Expressing gratitude to the people for the sacrifice and support for the state government led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the Speaker urged Deltans to embody those values to foster a state where every citizen would live in peace, progress, and unity.
Rt Hon Guwor, who is the National Treasurer, Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly, on behalf of the State Legislature, wished all Deltans joy, blessings, and a prosperous New Year, saying, “Merry Christmas, Delta State”.
Guwor expressed optimism that the Yuletide will usher in new prosperity and growth in the state and called for collective action towards building a brighter future for the state.
