All Progressives Congress (APC) ward 9, in Oshimili South Local Government Area, as held its maiden end of year get-together for stakeholders in the ward.
The occasion was attended by ward leaders, especially those considered to have grassroots strength and followership.
Speaking at the event, the Ward Chairman, Mr. Goziem Obaze; appreciated those who contributed to the success of the celebration, urging others who could not to show support for the party at ward level.
Mr. Obaze commended those in attendance for making the ward thick, noting that they demonstrated true comradeship.
In his remarks, a prominent member of the ward leadership, Sir. Tobechukwu Okonkwo, emphasized that politics was local and leadership earned, while urging those who made the occasion possible not to relent, as their efforts and support remained well documented.
Present at the ceremony were Ogbueshi Pascal Onukwu, Hon. Chinye Uso, Sir Tobechukwu Okonkwo, Dr Oby Idigbe, Sir Patrick Eboka, Mr Badiru Doyin, members of the Youth Wing of the ward, amongst others.
