Late Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, the Oracle of Delta politics, renowned political tactician, the Agu Eji Ejemba of Igbuzor and the Oshimili of Akwukwu-Igbo, once spoke lately about the vanity of life.

Hear him: “Uche Okpuno’s house; one of the best houses in Asaba, I bought it. No body is there. Everything in that house is bullet proof. It’s there in Asaba, I have not slept there one day.

“You all know my house in Asaba. Go to Lagos and see my house.

“I live and own a house in Maitama, where the big boys live in this country. I own a mansion there.

“I have more than six houses in Abuja, I have in Lagos, I have in Port Harcourt, I have in London. But I was in one room; one single room.

Does it make a sense to you? Do you get the sense?

“With all these things, I was in one room. I have never been in more than one room at a time. So, that’s the vanity of life”.
