The family of the Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council, (IPAC) Delta State chapter, Hon Henry Eze; has taken their latest baby, Levi, to Church for thanksgiving, after his dedication a couple of months ago.

The thanksgiving took place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, West End, Asaba, where Reverend Father John Bosco Ezeonwumere admonished Levi’s parents to ensure his proper upbringing.

Father Ezeonwumere said every Christian family, especially those of the Catholic faith, must not only dedicate their children to God, but also ensure that they were properly guided to imbibe the right values and stay away from crime and social vices.

He blamed the increasing rate of moral decadence in the society on lack of parental care early in the life of children, urging parents to spend quality time with their children to be able to monitor their conduct and correct them when necessary.

In an interview after the thanksgiving service, Hon Prince Henry Eze thanked God for His grace and mercy upon his family, explaining that they took Levi to Church because they wanted him to be under the canopy of God for divine guidance and protection growing up.

He pledged to continue to provide for his children spiritually and materially, be there for them always and to ensure that his family did not depart from the way of God.

Levi’s mother, Mrs Marian Eze, thanked God for her safe delivery and for the Lord’s faithfulness to the family, as she prayed for good health of mind and body for her children and the grace of God upon them in their journey of life.
