The leadership of a popular sociopolitical organization, Sceptre International Incorporated; has identified four areas Nigeria must focus on to be able to get rid of the current challenges plaguing the nation.

Addressing newsmen in Asaba on Thursday, the President of the organization, Dr. Chukwuka Wealth Martins; said priority attention must be given to agriculture, security, commerce and industry, as well as power (electricity).

Dr. Wealth said the group had always advocated that the country should channel fifty percent of its annual budgets to agriculture, where it had the strength to revolutionize the sector.

He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the steps he had taken to boost agriculture, including the recent pacts Nigeria signed with some countries in that regard, and urged him to ensure the full implementation of the agreements and the agricultural policies of his administration targeted at ensuring food security.

Sceptre International called on the President to allow his good works speak for him in the 2027 election, which the group insisted must not be manipulated, while stressing that there should be electoral reforms that would restore confidence in the process and make citizens’ votes count.

The group’s President encouraged Nigerians not to give up hope on their country, urging them to always insist on having persons with the interest of the nation at heart in power, through the instrumentality of the ballot, emphasizing that it was high time spent and oppressive politicians were done away with for the greater good of all because the time had come for the righteous to be on the throne.

Dr. Wealth particularly called on Nigerian youths to see themselves as protagonists of the much desired change, rather than sit on the fence and watch things continue to go wrong, pointing out that allowing the old generation of politicians to remain in power, with little or nothing to offer, was rubbing off on the entire ecosystem of the country.

He used the opportunity to urge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu in the interest of justice in the country.

The Head, Women Advocacy of the group, Evangelist Sandra Austin, and the Public Relations Officer, Pedro Ubaka Celestine, also lent their voices to the call for a better Nigeria, which they maintained would not be possible without the youths rising to the challenge of rebuilding the nation.
