The Executive and members of a foremost political support group in the state, Delta Grassroots Network (DGN), have congratulated their founder, Hon Chuks Frank Asuai, on his birth anniversary.
In a statement issued on behalf of the organization, the State Coordinator, Comrade Odogwu Ugochi, praised Hon Asuai for showing leadership in the delivery of the group’s mandate for the past one decade of its existence.
Comrade Odogwu noted that DGN, under Hon Asuai’s watch, had played key roles in the state elections, supporting the ruling party since 2015, and had remained steadfast in that regard even while still expecting rewards.
The DGN Coordinator, who described the celebrant as a great mobilizer and result-driven grassroots politician, recalled that he was the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency House of Representatives candidate of the National Conscience Party for the 2015 election, but later stepped down for the PDP candidate and went ahead to join the PDP and supported the immediate past Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
He encouraged Hon Asuai to continue to make sacrifices for the political growth of the state, expressing optimism that favour would locate him and some members of the group some day for their contribution to and support for the system.
The Coordinator prayed God to continue to keep the DGN founder strong and healthy tog accomplish more for the political class and the system and urged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to consider him and some other members of the group for appointment.
