A former Deputy Chief Whip of the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman, Board of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service, DSIRS, Hon Solomon Ighrakpata, has felicitated the immediate past Governor of the state, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his 66th birth anniversary today, 8 July, 2025.
Hon Ighrakpata, on behalf of his wife, family and political associates, congratulated Dr Okowa on the natal anniversary, saying that the celebrant occupied a special place in their hearts.
The DSIRS Chairman stated that the former Governor had touched lives, impacted on so many people and created champions both in his public and private life.
Hon Ighrakpata, who described the celebrant as a great leader, said “Your Excellency, you have touched lives, impacted so many, and created champions. You have restored the hope of many and transformed lives with your impactful contributions to the development of Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general.
“You are indeed worthy to be celebrated as you are indeed a trailblazer and a gift to humanity. As you mark this milestone of your 66th birth anniversary, we thank God for His infinite mercy and grace upon you.
“Our prayer is that Almighty God will grant you good health, long life, strength, and make you more prosperous to continue to add value to humanity, to the glory of God”.
