The Chairman, Delta Trust Mortgage Bank Limited, Hon. Dr. Jude Omena Ogbimi, has extended hearty felicitations to former Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, as he marks his 66th birth anniversary.
Hon Ogbimi, a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, in a goodwill message on behalf of the management and staff of the bank, described Okowa as an indefatigable and dynamic leader, as well as a trailblazer and a shinning light in the polity of Delta State and beyond, whose impact had remained untainted.
He further described the former Governor as a financial reformer and exemplary public servant, commending him for entrenching a culture of fiscal responsibility and institution-building during his eight-year administration, while noting that many of the reforms he put in place had continued to bear fruits under the current dispensation
The former Lawmaker stated that Okowa’s leadership was defined by clarity of purpose and financial prudence, adding that his belief in sustainable governance laid a solid foundation for institutions like the Delta Trust Mortgage Bank to thrive and support state development efforts.
Hon Ogbimi recalled the synergy between the Okowa administration and key financial institutions which, he said, boosted housing finance, mortgage access, and investment in local infrastructure.
He pray that the ex-Governor’s new age would bring him more of God’s grace, greater opportunities and wisdom.
