The President General of Obomkpa Progressive Union (Worldwide), Comrade Emeka Bidokwu, has felicitated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his 62nd birth anniversary.
Comrade Bidokwu, in a congratulatory message to the Governor, issued on behalf of the Obomkpa community, said the occasion was an opportunity for Deltans, political associates, friends and well wishes to appreciate him for the giant strides of his administration.
He noted that the Oborevwori administration had ensured equity and fairness to the three senatorial districts by ensuring that no local government area was left out in the distribution of projects.
The PG remarked that the state government, under Oborevwori’s watch, had awarded numerous road projects across the state in recent times, with 40 percent mobilization of the contractors, describing the move as a testament to the seriousness attached to the development of the state.
Comrade Bidokwu, a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-Party Relations, stated that Governor Oborevwori had put Delta state on the path to greater heights by aligning the state with the federal government through the instrumentality of the recent political development in the state.
While urging Deltans to remain steadfast in supporting the Governor, the Obomkpa PG prayed God to continue to guide, protect and defend him in the onerous task of delivering good governance to the people.
