The Board, Management and Staff of the Delta State Waste Management Board, have congratulated the State Governor, Rt. Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, on his 62nd birth anniversary.

The Board, in a statement signed by the Executive Chairman, Hon Matthew Mofe Edema, said the occasion was an opportunity to celebrate the Governor for the giant strides his administration had recorded in all sectors in only two years in office.

DSWMB stated that the achievements of the Governor in the areas of road construction, healthcare delivery, education, human capital development, amongst others, were mind-blowing and commendable, affirming that he remained the Governor with a difference.

The Board appreciated Oborevwori for his continued support for the establishment, which had made it possible for it to carry out its mandate of waste management across the state and assured the Governor that the Board would not relent in ensuring that the state remained clean at all times.

It prayed God to continue to keep the Governor strong and healthy, grant him the strength and wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state in the remaining two years of his administration’s first tenure and beyond.
