Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has been commended for showing leadership in the governance of the state in just two years in office.

Executive Assistant to the Governor on Inter-Party Relations, Chief Josiah Efe Tobor, gave the commendation in a statement to appreciate him for the ongoing inauguration of projects across the state.

Chief Efe Tobor noted that some of the inaugurated projects were inherited from the previous administrations, describing the rare trajectory as an expression of the Governor’s belief that no project should be abandoned because government remained a continuum.

He said the eight units of duplexes inaugurated earlier this week at the Commissioner’s quarters in Asaba were landmark projects meant to provide a conducive environment for top government functionaries to give their best, stressing that only a Governor with an eye on result would bother to execute such projects.

The EA expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for the inauguration multiple strategic road projects in Warri South Local Government, including the Upper and Lower Erejuwa road, General Hospital road linking Police Command road, Ajamimogha/Mabiaku link road, Ogunu community main and internal roads, Ugbuwangue community roads, and Okere Market road, all in the Warri metropolis.

He described as heartwarming Wednesday’s inaugurated of a multi-billion naira set of cutting-edge medical equipment, including

eight hemodialysis machines, 25 4D user-friendly ultrasound scanner, and two German-manufactured rugged CT scan machine, in a bold step to transform healthcare delivery across the state.

Chief Efe Tobor recalled that the Governor had said it would take a whole year to inaugurate all the projects lined up to mark his second anniversary in office, which was instructive of the huge impact of his administration on the state.
