The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has felicitated Her Excellency, Dame Edith Okowa, on her 64th birthday anniversary.
Rt Hon Guwor, who described Dame Okowa as a mother-figure, elegant and gracious, acknowledged the enviable impact the wife of the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, had made in the lives of many.
Saying that her pet project “O5 Initiative”, was a master piece, Mr Speaker, in a statement made available to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, noted that the philanthropic endeavors and support that Dame Okowa provided for her husband’s administration, as Governor of Delta State, made lasting impact on the state.
He enjoined the celebrant to remain steadfast in her service to God and support for the welfare of others, particularly the less privileged in the society.
Rt Hon Guwor prayed God to grant Dame Okowa good health, unlimited joy and all that she requires to live her best in the years ahead.

“Wishing her excellent health, happiness, and many more years of blessings”, Guwor stated.
