The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, Engr. Emmanuel Mormah, Ph.D, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Executive Chairman of Ika South Local Government, Engr. Jerry Ehiwarior, on his recent honour as a recipient of the Rootwatch Distinguished Local Government Merit Award.
In a statement released in Asaba, the SSA described the award as timely, well-deserved, and a true reflection of purposeful leadership and unwavering commitment to grassroots development.
He noted that Hon. Ehiwarior’s tenure had been marked by laudable achievements, including road infrastructure development, market rehabilitation, and responsive community engagement that had significantly improved the lives of the people of Ika South.
