A renowned Captain of Industry and Group CEO, Netwest Group, Mr. Osaro Abusomwan, has been elected 2nd Deputy President of the Asaba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ASACCIMA).
Mr. Abusomwan was elected along with nine other officials at the 16th Annual General Meeting of the City Chamber, held on Tuesday in Asaba.
In an interview with Journalists after subscribing to the relevant oaths, Abusomwan congratulated the new President of the Association, Hon (Chief) Chinwe Monu-Oduah, expressing the belief that she would lead and navigate ASACCIMA to the next level.
The business mogul said he would be supportive of the ideas and vision of the new President, adding that he would bring his wealth of experience in the industry to the table to make members of the Association and the capital city of Asaba feel the impact of the new team.
He described the immediate past President, Chief Anthony Idigbe, SAN, as a role model who played a leading role in the private sector, was clear about what he wanted and went about accomplishing them, expressing optimism that the new executive would do better.
Abusomwan urged members of the new executive to be creative and work as a team to be able to achieve the set goals.
