Collapse of Delta PDP Into APC: A Historic Development – Hon Edema

The recent collapse of Delta PDP structure into APC has been described as a historic development ordained by God.

This was the view expressed by the Executive Chairman of the Delta State Waste Management Board, Hon Matthew Mofe Edema, while speaking with Journalists at the formal reception of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and other PDP members across the state into the APC.

Hon Edema noted that the event, which took place under the watch of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by his Vice, Sen. Kashim Shettima, was the first of its kind in the political history of the country, affirming the fact that “Delta Nor Dey Carry Last”.

He said the realignment would position Delta State on the right track in national politics, ease the attraction of development to the state and ensure oneness of purpose in the polity.

The Board Chairman expressed optimism that the realignment would be seamless, and called for understanding on the part of the leadership of the APC in the state to avoid a divided house ahead of the 2027 elections.

Hon Edema stressed that the ‘house’ was large enough to accommodate everyone, insisting that all concerned must strive to ensure the realization of the set goals for the overall good of the state.
