An Asaba-based businessman and politician, Chief Uju Udeme, has congratulated a renowned community leader and former Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Dr. Christopher Ashimedua Agbobu, on his birth anniversary.
Chief Udeme, in his congratulatory message, described Chief Agbobu as a grounded politician and king maker, who had not only served at the grassroots level as Councillor, Secretary to Local Government and later Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, but also as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He stated that Chief Agbobu, who is the Onishe of Ubulu-Unor, had contributed to the development of his community, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta state and the country at large.
Chief Udeme said the celebrant had mentored the younger generation of politicians, many of whom had served and some still serving in different capacities contributing to the development of the society, and drawing from his exceptional leadership qualities.
While adding that the former Minister had endeared himself as a role model to the people of Aniocha South and the state in general, through his commitment to peace building and unity, especially in the political landscape, Chief Udeme wished him good him a happy birthday and many happy returns.
Chief Udeme prayed God to grant Chief Agbobu good health, wisdom and long life in the years ahead to enable him impact more on society.
