A political support group in the state, Delta Grassroots Network (DGN) has registered a Foundation, under the Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.

The registration, which was by the Corporate Affairs  Commission (CAC), followed the expiration of a widely publicised mandatory 28 days notice to entertain any objection to the registration.

The Delta Grassroots Network Foundation is to care and provide for the less privileged ones in the society, organize youth empowerment programmes for skills acquisition, organize seminars and workshops that will bring positive reforms, drive productivity, and develop students in schools and campuses, among other objectives.

The President of the Foundation, Hon Chuks Asuai, described the successful registration process as a significant milestone in the group’s efforts to diversify.

Hon Asuai said the organization was now in a position to impact on the less privileged and vulnerable persons, pointing out that programmes geared towards achieving the goal would soon be unfolded.

The grassroots politician and PDP chieftain pledged the Foundation’s readiness to partner with government to drive empowerment programmes for youths.
