The first member of the Delta State Sports Commission, Sam Sodje, has joined friends and well wishers of the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Emomotimi Guwor, in congratulating him on his 46th birth anniversary.
Sam Sodje, in his congratulatory message, said he was happy with the history Guwor had made as the youngest Speaker ever produced by the State Legislature.
The ex-international footballer noted that as a youth leader, the Speaker made significant contributions to the development of his Oporoza community, while as the presiding officer of the State Assembly, he had proved that “the youth are no longer leaders of tomorrow but today”.
The Sports Commission first member expressed confidence that Guwor’s political career had just started, envisioning that he would gain more grounds in the political landscape of the state.
He urged the celebrant to remain a true representative of his constituents, tested and trusted Presiding Officer of the vibrant Delta State House of Assembly and wished him the best of the celebration.
Sam Sodje prayed God to grant the Speaker good health and long life so that he could be of greater service to the state and humanity.
