The foremost sociocultural organisation of the Ndokwa Nation, the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), has congratulated the State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, on his 60th birth anniversary.
NNU, in a message issued by its President – General, Comrade Chief Amechi Asugwuni, described Sir Onyeme as an illustrious son of Ndokwa land who had made history as the first from the area to become the Deputy Governor of Delta State.
The organisation noted, with delight, the contributions of the Deputy Governor to the development of Ndokwa Nation and the state at large, through ‘The Monday Onyeme Foundation’, which had impacted positively on the lives of beneficiaries of its programmes.
It placed on record, the absolute loyalty of Sir Onyeme to his boss, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, which had made the governance of the state smooth and progressive, adding value to the MORE agenda of the state government.
The Union pledged support for Sir Onyeme in his task as the Deputy Governor of Delta State and in his unrelenting efforts to better the lot of the people of Ndokwa Nation, assuring that the organisation would continue to work in synergy with the celebrant to attract more development to Ndokwa land.
NNU wished Sir Onyeme many happy returns of the birth anniversary and prayed God to grant him good health, strength, wisdom and long life to render more services to the state, Ndokwa Nation and humanity.
