Non-Indigenes Appreciate Oborevwori’s Vision, Commitment To Development of Delta

The non-indigene community in Delta State, has appreciated the leadership, vision, and commitment of the State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, to the development of the state.

The Executive Assistant to the Governor on Non-Indigene Affairs, Hon Barr Emeka Ebiliekwe, in his remarks during a visit to the Governor at Government House, Asaba, noted that the community had 

witnessed efforts to create an inclusive environment where all residents, regardless of origin could thrive, do business, and live in peace. 

Barr Ebiliekwe added that Oborevwori’s policies of fairness and equity gave the non-indigenes confidence that Delta State remained a home for all.

According to him, the community also appreciated the support and cooperation they received from the people of Delta State, who had accepted them as part of the society, stressing that the 

spirit of unity and peaceful coexistence in Delta was commendable, and they would continue to play their part in fostering harmony, development and progress in the state. 

The Governor’s aide used the opportunity to appreciate all the non-indigene leaders for their support for the Oborevwori administration and urged them to continue in that direction because they had taken Delta State as their own. 

Barr Ebiliekwe assured the Governor of their unwavering support and prayers for the success of his administration, pledging continued collaboration with the state government to ensure that Delta State remained a model of peace, inclusivity and prosperity.

Responding, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori thanked the non-indigenes for their support for his administration and assured them his administration would continue to make their stay in Delta safe and conducive to do business and engage in other endeavors.
