A grassroots politician in the state and President General of the Obomkpa Progressive Union (OPU) Federated, Mr. Emeka Bidokwu, has extended felicitations to a former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu, on his 60th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message to the former representative of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Bidokwu, a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Inter-Party Relations, described him as a politician with a large heart committed to selfless service.
The one-time Chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Delta State chapter, said, though he belonged to an opposition party, he could attest to the effective representation of Rt. Hon Elumelu, who ensured that Constituency projects reached every community in Aniocha/Oshimili.
He maintained that Elumelu’s empowerment programmes while in the House of Reps, were largely inclusive and impactful, insisting that the record he had set would be difficult to beat
Bidokwu said state was lucky to have a thorough-bred grassroots politician like the ex-Minority Leader, whom he noted still had a lot to offer to the state and humanity
The Governor’s aide wished Elumelu the best beyond 60 and prayed God to grant him good health and long life in the years ahead.
