Uzor Greets Elumelu At 60

A former State Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Delta State chapter, High Chief Edwin Uzor, JP, has felicitated a chieftain of the party and former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ndudi Godwin Elumelu, on his 60th birth anniversary today, 23rd February, 2025.

Chief Uzor, who is the Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution, said Elumelu had carved a niche for himself as a parliamentarian per excellence when he represented the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.

He noted that the former Minority Leader did not only make the collective voice of Aniocha/Oshimili people constantly heard in the green chambers, but also handled the oversight functions assigned to him with due diligence and patriotism 

The Special Adviser cited Elumelu’s roles as Chairman, House Committee on Health and later Power, during which he led an explosive probe of the nation’s power sector, even at the risk of his life.

Chief Uzor, who is also the Onwa of Oko kingdom, noted that the former Lawmaker spread his Constituency projects across all the communities in the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, adding that his empowerment programmes were robust and impactful.

He said the waves Elumelu made during his tenure as member representing the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency would continue to resonate, stressing that his record in the House would be difficult to beat.

The former State PDP Chairman congratulated Elumelu for attaining the diamond age and prayed God to continue to keep him strong and healthy to be of greater service to the state and humanity.
