Oshimili South PDP Leaders Pay Condolence Visit To Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia Over Brother’s Death

The Chairman, Oshimili South chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogbueshi Chike Ifesiokwu, on Saturday, paid a condolence visit to a prominent member of the party in the area, Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia, over the death of his elder brother, Ogbueshi Engr. Ndozi Onyia, who passed away on Thursday, 13th February, 2025.

He was accompanied by the LGA Ward Chairmen of the party, among others.

In his remarks on the solemn occasion, Ogbueshi Ifesiokwu recalled how dedicated the late PDP stalwart was to ensuring that the party emerged victorious during his active days in politics. 

The Party Chairman described the late Ogbueshi Engr. Ndozl Onyia as a motivator and inspirational leader who would be remembered for good and requested Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia to keep the party posted on the burial arrangements. 

Ogbueshi Ifesiokwu used the opportunity to plead for peace amongst party faithful, stressing the need to care for one another especially in trying times. 

Similarly, the PDP leader in Oshimili South LGA, High Chief Edwin Uzor, embarked on a condolence visit to the residence of Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia. 

Chief Edwin Uzor was accompanied by several party stalwarts, including Honourable Bridget Anyafulu, Ogbueshi Chibuzor Uwaje, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, Ogbueshi Taju Isichei, Ogbueshi Smart Meka, Honourable Olisa Onyeka , Honourable Izuka Okolo, Honourable Eloka Aziekwu, Sir Tobechukwu Okonkwo amongst others. 

The LGA Party Leader acknowledged the efforts of late Engr. Ndozi Onyia in ensuring electoral victories for the party in his active days and assured Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia that leaders of the party would do the needful to ensure that their late member was given a befitting burial, as he deserved even more

The two delegations prayed God to grant the soul of the late party faithful eternal rest and the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss. 

Responding on the separate occasions, Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia expressed appreciation for the visits and assured that party leaders would be duly informed on the burial arrangements, even as he preached peace amongst PDP faithful in the LGA. 

Ogbueshi Ejiofor Onyia suggested that there would be need for party leaders to meet after the burial of his late brother.
