The Director General of Warri, Uvwie and Environs Special Area Development Agency, (WUEDA), Hon. Prince Godwin Ejinyere, has restated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s resolve to restore the lost glory of Warri, Uvwie and their environs by giving the twin cities a total facelift.
Prince Ejinyere stated this in his office on Tuesday while playing host to officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Warri South and Uvwie Divisions.
He said the Governor was passionate about effecting a positive change in the twin cities, promising to ensure the realization of the Governor’s desire.
The DG decried the level of lawlessness in the area, and assured the NSCDC officers of WUEDA’s partnership towards achieving the MORE agenda of the State Governor, even as he added that the Governor was willing to take the Oil City beyond its past glory and would not tolerate retrogressive acts
Hon. Prince Ejinyere promised to interface with NSCDC and work as a team to achieve more as partners in progress, pointing out that the two organisations would be going out as a team to enforce environmental laws.
He thanked the NSCDC team for stretching hands of fellowship to the Agency.

Earlier, the NSCDC Divisional Officer, Warri South, CSC Salami Oladimeji, said the visit was to intimate the WUEDA Director General of their resolve to work in synergy with the Agency towards achieving its set goals and objectives.
While commending the DG for the great job the Agency had been doing, CSC Oladimeji said NSCDC officers would be available anytime their services were needed.
Other NSCDC officers present at the visit included the Divisional Officer for Uvwie, SC German Ariewhe Paulet, and the OC Operations, Warri South Division, SC Michael Ali.
