Elected and appointed political office holders in Ndokwa East Local Government Area have resolved to work together for the collective good of the people they serve
They took the resolution on Monday at a meeting convened by the member representing the Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Nnamdi Ezechi..

Hon Ezechi said the meeting became necessary to remind them that they were all working towards achieving a common goal, which bordered on the well-being of the people, stressing that they would all be judged by the impact they were able to make in the life of the people.
The Federal Lawmaker thanked the elected and appointed officials for their support for the Oborevwori administration, emphasizing the need for the people of Ndokwa East to benefit significantly from the MORE agenda of Governor Sheriff’ Oborevwori.

He noted that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori had performed beyond expectations since he assumed office on May 29, 2023 and urged political leaders in Ndokwa East to help to propagate the good works of the Governor in their respective mandate areas.
Hon Ezechi also called on PDP faithful in the LGA to remain united and supportive of the party, pointing out that the party needed to be strengthened for greater electoral exploits ahead of the 2027 elections.

In their separate remarks, the member representing Ndokwa East in the State Assembly, Hon Prince Emeka Osamuta, Chief Emmanuel Onyeukwu, Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, Chief Vincent Osilonya, Chief Tony Amechi, Dr Charles Olisa and Pastor Ken Otuya, thanked Hon Ezechi for calling the meeting, which they said was necessary to forget a common front for the progress and development of Ndokwa East.
They expressed satisfaction with the infrastructural and human capital development initiatives of Governor Sheriff’ Oborevwori and pledged continued support for his administration and the PDP.

The highlight of the meeting was the passing of a vote of confidence on the Governor, following a motion moved by Hon Prince Emeka Osamuta and seconded by Dr Kingsley Ashibogwu.
