Dearly beloved,
As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am reminded of the profound words of Isaiah 9:6, ‘For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.’
This Christmas season, I pray that the peace, love, and joy that Jesus embodies will fill your hearts and homes. May the true meaning of Christmas – the gift of salvation and redemption through Jesus Christ – be the foundation of our celebrations.
As we exchange gifts, share meals, and spend time with loved ones, let us not forget the ultimate gift that God gave us – His only Son, Jesus Christ. May we honor Him by living out the values of love, kindness, and compassion that He exemplified.
