CHRISTMAS: SMEDAN DG Distributes Rice To Aniocha South APC Members

In tandem with the Renewed Hope mantra of the TINUBU administration, the Director General, Small Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) Mr Charles Odii, has celebrated Christmas with the people of  Aniocha South Local Government Area. 

The DG, who distributed 27 units of 25kg bags of rice, and 300 units of 10kg bags of rice to the 11 wards in Aniocha South APC, also gave out 200 bags randomly to constituents totalling 500 bags of 10kg rice.

Odii urged the oeople to keep hope alive as the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope mantra was in due course and making significant progress, as the President’s policies were need at this time for the nation to grow.

He advised constituents and Nigerians in general to support the Tinubu administration in the quest for a better Nigeria in the nearest future, noting that the fight against corruption, which he identified as the bane of the nation’s growth, was not an easy task.

While emphasizing that the problem of Nigeria was not failed policies, but deep rooted corruption, the DG urged the people of Aniocha South to stay safe and enjoy the holiday season, taking cognizance of the fact that “Jesus is the reason for the season” . 

Receiving the 300 bags of 10 kg and 27 bags of 25kg rice at the Party Secretariat in Ogwashi-Uku, the LGA Chairman of the APC, Comrade Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudima, said, ” in all honesty, this is a clear sign of better things to come, hope is alive.

” I commend President Tinubu for his Renewed Hope agenda  and the DG of SMEDAN for reaching out to the grassroots, through the executive members of the APC across the 11 wards of Aniocha South, his immediate constituency”.

He further stated that “we appreciate him greatly, the rice has been evenly distributed and many are leaving here happy, we have prayed for him and we appreciate him.

” At a time we were worried, because we’ve been expecting this kind of gesture and we are glad is has finally come and we know more will come by the grace of God, we are grateful “. 

Flanked by other executive members of the party, including the Youth Leader Aniocha South, Comrade Austin Utulu, the Party Chairman revealed that “at least this time the people will smile, because something like this has never happened before”
