Pursuant to the environmental rejuvenation outcome of the MORE agenda of the Oborevwori administration, the Delta State Waste Management Board has taken its dumpsite maintenance to Delta Central senatorial district of the state

The Board, led by Hon Matthew Mofe Edema, was at the Agbarho dumpsite to push back piled up waste, under the supervision of the member representing Delta Central, Mr. Felix Erhimedafe and his Delta South counterpart, Mrs. Juliet Enifome Ethe.

Mr. Erhimedafe thanked the Board Chairman, Hon Matthew Mofe Edema, for ensuring regular maintenance of dumpsites across the state, saying that it made their job easy.

He said regular maintenance of the dumpsites meant more space for the waste managers to empty their truck loads of waste, thereby making their operations seamless.

The Delta Central member added that the Board’s routine evacuation of waste would not be possible if the dumpsites were not regularly maintained, and pledged his support for the Board Chairman in achieving a clean environment in his area of jurisdiction

Also speaking the member representing Delta South, Mrs. Juliet Enifome Ethe, said she was happy with the team spirit of the Mofe Edema-led Board, which had resulted in achieving a common purpose of cleanliness propelled by effective waste management strategies.

The Board member, who is new to the system, said she was confident that Delta South would receive no less attention with regards to regular evacuation of waste and maintenance of dumpsites, especially in the Warri/Uvwie axis and promised to give her best in the service of the Board and the state.
