The wife of the Delta State Governor, Her Excellency, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, will on Monday, 23rd December, 2024, Commission the Ultra modern Oko Event Center, at Oko Amakom, in Oshimili South Local Government Area.
A statement by the Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government Council, Hon Chief Obi Kelvin Ezenyili, Ph.D, says the event will take place at 9 am.
The statement adds that a N50m youth empowerment programne will be flagged-off same day, with 500 beneficiaries to receive N100,000 each, while 220 bags of rice will be distributed to the eleven wards in Oshimili South at 20 bags per ward.
According to the statement, the events are to showcase the dividends of democracy to the people of Oshimili South LGA
