Hon Edema Inspects Clean Up Exercise In Asaba

The Chairman, Delta State Waste Management Board, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema, Tuesday, inspected ongoing clean-up exercise along the Asaba/Benin expressway and Asaba/Ibusa expressway. 

He noted that the Board was concerned about the development of the state in line with the Governor’s MORE Agenda and would continue to play its role in ensuring that the roads and streets were not littered with waste 

Hon Edema, while frowning at the menace of indiscriminate dumping of refuse in the State Capital Territory, assured that stringent measures, including strict enforcement of extant laws, would be taken to change the narrative.

The clean-up exercise, which was done by mobilizing pail loader and tipper, was to improve on the aesthetics of the Capital Territory, as well as make the environment cleaner and healthier this Yuletide. 

The Chairman was accompanied by the member representing Delta North, Mr Cosmas Igbenije and the Director, Operations, Mr Michael Onoriode Esegba
