UPU Hall Of Fame: Uju Udeme Congratulates Oborevwori

An Asaba-based businessman and grassroots politician, Chief Uju Udeme, has described the recent induction of the State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, into the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Hall of Fame as a great feat worth celebrating.

Chief Udume, in a congratulatory message to the Governor, noted that the honour was not only deserving, but also inspiring, especially to political leaders, as it demonstrated that hard work and selfless service would some day be rewarded.

The rice dealer and Chairman, Delta Rice Millers Association, added that the title of ‘Omorotomo of Urhobo land’ also conferred on the Governor by the Urhobo Traditional Rulers’ Council, stood him out as an illustrious son of the Urhobo nation, a good ambassador and a role model.

Chief Udume, who is also the Chairman, Traders Association of Nigeria, Delta State chapter, said with the height already attained by Governor Oborevwori in the governance of the state, more honours and recognitions were certain in the years ahead.

He encouraged the Governor to continue to blaze the trail in leadership, through which he had made significant strides in infrastructural and human capital development, as well as peace building across the state.

Chief Udeme prayed God to continue to keep Governor Oborevwori strong and healthy, and grant him the wisdom and political will to advance the state to an enviable level with the MORE agenda of his administration.
