The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Newspapers, Hon (Dr.) Prince Joseph Eromosere Orhomonokpaye, has congratulated the newly elected executive of the Association of Community Newspaper Publishers, Delta State on their successful inauguration.
In a statement made available to Journalists, Prince Orhomonokpaye described the election that brought the new executive to office as peaceful and appreciated the efforts of all well-meaning men and women of integrity who sacrificed their time, resources and wisdom to save the Association from drifting out of track.
The Governor’s aide called on the Chairman, Dike Dan Awana, and other executive members of the group to carry everyone along to avoid the mistakes that worked against the body in the past.
The SSA noted that a lot of sacrifice had gone into building the association and no one should be tempted to take the hand of the clock back in the affairs of the group.
He wished the new executive the best and pledged the support of his office in moving the association forward.
