A former House of Representatives aspirant in Delta State, Hon Chuks Frank Asuai, has called for an urgent solution to the menace of street children now constituting nuisance in Asaba.
Hon Asuai, a PDP chieftain and founder of a political support group, Delta Grassroots Network (DGN),.made the call when he led some members of the group to feed some street children at Ibusa junction, Asaba,

He said every parent should be concerned about the fate of the children loitering the streets under the vagaries of the weather without parental care, food, shelter, healthcare and education..
Hon Asuai expressed fears of the security implications of allowing the children to remain in the streets, and urged the government, public spirited individuals and organisations to intervene.
The Ossissa-born grassroots politician used the opportunity to commend Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the massive construction work going on in the Warri and Uvwie axis of the state, stressing that the lost glory of the Oil City would soon be restored.

He felicitated the new leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, led by Chief Solomon Arenyeka, and called for a more united house ahead of the 2027 election.
Hon Asuai expressed regret that the system had yet to appreciate the role played by DGN before and during the 2023 election, and appealed to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to find a way to remember some members of the group in the scheme of things.
