Succour recently came to way of over 650 widows in Umunede, Owa-Oyibu and Idumuesah in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, as a renowned philanthropist and General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, also known as, Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Joseph Igbodo shared monthly food items to them.

The Prophet of God, who is also the proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Home, visited the widows on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the aforementioned communities with cartons of indomie, cartons of biscuits, cartons of chinchin, packets of sweets and other food items.

At Idumuesah, 152 widows were attended to, Umunede had 300, while Owa-Oyibu had 200 widows in attendance at the outreach.

Prophet Igbodo was ably represented at Idumuesah and Owa-Oyibu by his ministers, while he was present at Umunede to spread the love and gospel of Jesus Christ to the widows.

At Idumuesah, Prophet Bayor Innocent stated, ” I want to thank God for our daddy for giving me the privilege to stand in for him today. All our daddy needs from us is prayer. When you pray, God honours it. Despite not being from Ika land, God is using him to bring succour to widows in the land. He is a great man of God with a golden heart. There are many people who will divert these things to their family or probably turn it to a political affair. He is a man who loves and fears God.

“Be patient so that the thoughts of God over you can manifest in your life. Your belief is a pathway to your manifestation. Your testimony depends on your beliefs system. God answered Hannah based on her belief. So, you need to increase your faith in God.

“Come to God in prayer. When you pray to God, He would remember His promises concerning you. Pray with reason and understanding. Your desire can only be given to you when you don’t relent in prayer.

“Seek God with all your heart. Ensure your heart is clean before asking God for anything. If your heart is not clean, prayer becomes a difficult task for you”.

At the Church headquarter in Agbor, Prophet Igbodo spoke on the topic, “Seek Ye First The Kingdom of God”, with text from Matthew 6: 33, and Lamentation 5:1-5, saying that when believers seek the kingdom of God, every other thing will be added unto them.

He added that when believers abandoned God, they would labour without results, insisting that believers should be on the right path always, saying that life was all about excellence because God is excellent.

According to him, “You need to work for the blessing of God to manifest in your life. For God to bless you, you must make yourself available. Fasting and prayer are for God to transform your life. As long as you are working, you would never be hungry. Success is associated with God. So, hold on to God firmly.

“It is only God who can do things for you without mocking or insulting you. God is greater than Satan. Don’t play when it comes to prayer. Your source is God. Doctors can’t treat you free but God can heal you free of charge. Without Christ there is no life”.

In all, Prophet Igbodo led his members and widows in fervent prayers and anointed them for preservation in the new month.
