The Delta Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines a d Agriculture (DACCIMA), has described the coronation of Obi (Prof) Epiphany Azinge, SAN, as good for the Asaba community and its people.
DACCIMA, in a statement signed by its President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Anthony Idigbe, PhD, SAN, and Board Secretary, Peter Isioma Okolie, noted that Asaba, as a highly civilized community, needed an influential and well connected traditional ruler like Obi (Prof) Epiphany Azinge to give the people a purposeful direction
The Association said it was pleased with the intimidating profile of Asagba Azinge, who had carved a niche for himself in the legal profession as a Professor of Law, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN and a Judge of the Commonwealth Arbitral Tribunal.
The organisation specifically commended the new Asagba for proposing to establish a welfare/development fund for community development and expressed the hope that the initiative would stimulate economic activities in Asaba and the environs
DACCIMA pledged support for the Asagba and called on Asaba people to unite and stand by him in his quest to uphold and promote the traditions and culture of the ancient town
