The Senior Policy Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Rt. Hon (Chief) Funkekeme Solomon, has congratulated Sir (Chief) Edwin Uzor on his investiture on Saturday as a Knight of Saint Christopher (KSC).
Hon Solomon, who witnessed the investiture at the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter, Asaba, said it was quite colourful and commanded a great deal of spiritual influence.
He noted that Sir Uzor had done a lot to improve on his spiritual life, expressing confidence that he would truly be a soldier of Christ and contribute more to the development of the Church.
Hon Solomon, a former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and one-time Senior Political Adviser to ex-Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, described Uzor as a leader of impeccable character who hated oppression and injustice.
He further described the new Knight of Saint Christopher as a friend, brother, political associate and dependable ally, rating him as the best State PDP Chairman Delta ever had.
The Ojobo-born political tactician thanked the Diocese of Asaba, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion for finding Sir Uzor worthy of the honour and religious calling, which he maintained was not a mistake, and urged him to strive to grow in faith and work more for God.
