The authorities of the Federal Road Safety Corps Training Institute, Owa-Alero, in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, have visited renowned philanthropist and General Overseer of the Divine Faith Evangelical Mission, Agbor, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, to commend him for his selfless humanitarian service.
The Commandant of the Institute, Corps Commander Ogundare Ogunjobi, said the visit was to identify with Prophet Igbodo in the good work God had been using him to do in the life of many, especially the widows and orphans,.
CC Ogunjobi, who was accompanied by Deputy Corps Commander Tony Ehidiamen, Corp Superintendent Omolola Adeoye, among others, thanked the Man of God for his intercessory prayers which had helped the Institute to grow, adding that his philanthropy knew no bounds and had given hope to the hopeless beyond imagination.
He encouraged Prophet Igbodo to continue to be a shining example to the Christian Community, which now had many fake prophets and pastors, stressing that the likes of Prophet Igbodo were needed to speak the truth to power and genuinely win souls for Christ.
While promising to remain dedicated to his duties, the Corps Commander solicited the continued prayers of Prophet Igbodo and a more robust collaboration with his Ministry and used the opportunity to urge the motoring public to obey traffic rules and regulations.
Responding, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who is also the proprietor of Job’s Orphanage and St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, thanked Corps Commander Ogunjobi and his entourage for the visit, which he said was inspiring and morale boosting.
Prophet Igbodo likened the work of the Ministry to that of the Corps because they both bordered on service to humanity, saying that the FRSC had been supportive of Job’s Orphanage, while suing for the sustenance of the support to enable him cover more grounds .
He told the visiting FRSC delegation that he had remained committed to driving the widows’ outreach programme of his Ministry, from which thousands of widows had benefitted and appealed to public spirited individuals and organisations to identify with the programme.
Also speaking, Elder Don. Ndudu Agholor, popularly called Shettima, thanked the Corps Commander for honoring them with his visit, saying that they were warmly welcomed to Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International and to Agbor land, appreciating them for their continued support of the humanitarian services of the Ministry.
He said the Church would work with him, describing the Corps officers as peaceful, knowledgeable and respectful.
“You are here at the right time. If you need anything in Agbor, please, always run to Shettima and Chief Ineh of Owa Kingdom. They are big fish in the land. We will not look down on your office. Your culture has made you a respectable person in the society. Your culture has made you a good listener, humble and loyal”, he added.
The presentation of award to Prophet Igbodo by the Corps Commander, and gifts to the visitors climaxed the visit.
