Rotarian Ukala described the Club as a great family where members drew strength from the friendships they had built over the years, the joy and satisfaction of working as a team, as well as the spirit and willingness to help others.

He revealed that the Club had already carried out its healthcare programme with a visit to the Cable Point Primary Health Centre in Asaba, while economic trees had been planted as part of its environmental support programme

The Asaba Government House Rotary Club President pointed out that focus would mainly be on basic education and literacy, as well as water sanitation and hygiene, from which some selected schools in Oshimili North and Oshimili South Local Government Areas would benefit.

The event featured presentation of awards and souvenirs to deserving members and personalities, including a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Victor Ochei.
