Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North senatorial district in the National Assembly, has denied reports purporting that he passed away in Switzerland, describing such reports as totally false and malicious.
Ned, in a statement he issued on Friday in Abuja, clarified that the rumors were baseless and used the opportunity to address recent accusations concerning his alleged purchase of a car for a young content creator.
While saying that the death rumour and the car purchase accusations were unfounded and deceptive, the billionaire politician expressed his frustration, stating, “Whether this is a misguided joke or a deliberate act of malice, it has gone too far and will not be tolerated.”
The Senator announced his intention to take immediate legal action against those responsible for spreading the falsehoods, warning that arrests would be made and that those involved should be ready to face the consequences.
He emphasized that his response was not about exerting influence but about holding those accountable for their harmful actions.
He warned that he would not tolerate any attempt to malign his character or downplay the seriousness of this situation, adding that those involved should prepare for legal repercussions soonest.
