A renowned educationist and former Secretary of the Delta State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr Henry Ofa, has congratulated Senator Ighoyota Amori on his 72nd birth anniversary.

Dr Ofa, also a one-time second member of the State Post Primary Education Board, in a congratulatory message to the septuagenarian, said his

exceptional ability to coordinate human resources is truly legendary.

He stated that Chief Amori’s unwavering dedication to advancing the Urhobo agenda had earned him recognition and respect, as evident in his instrumental role in the nomination and subsequent victory of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as the Governor of Delta State.

The Oghara-born politician added that Amori had held various political appointments throughout his illustrious career, both in party leadership and governance, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives.

“Your selflessness and commitment to education have led to numerous institutions being established in Urhobo land, and your robust inputs in policy formulation and execution have been invaluable.

“Personally, I have witnessed your selflessness firsthand. In August 1997, you accompanied me to NPEC Kaduna to obtain a clearance letter, enabling me to serve as Education Secretary of Ethiope West Local Government Area.

“Your influence extends far beyond your immediate constituency, earning you a reputation as a detribalized leader.

“As you celebrates this milestone birthday, I wish you a happy birthday, filled with God’s blessings, good health, long life, and prosperity. May your heart’s desires be granted, in Jesus’ name, Amen”, Dr Ofa stated.
